4 Quarters

The flagship program from Washington Solutions.

College athletes get world-class development as players and almost nothing as people. 4 Quarters fixes that. It is a year-round development curriculum for student-athletes, built with Dr. Dena Samuels, structured the way the game is structured: four quarters, every quarter with a purpose, plus overtime.

Here is the problem it solves:

  1. Athletes get elite coaching on the field and almost no development off it.

  2. NIL money and the transfer portal changed the game, and when the game ends there is no plan for what is next.

  3. The NCAA now requires schools to program across nine life-skills areas, and most departments are just checking a box.

4 Quarters covers seven of the nine areas, including career readiness, mental health, financial literacy, team building and belonging, and NIL readiness.

It plugs into the staff a department already has. We start with discovery and customization alongside department leadership, then deliver in small cohorts with compliance-grade attendance and outcome reporting the department can put in front of a board.

Built by people who have lived it.
